Today was my first game day with the Orioles. I didnt sleep much last night because I was so anxious for today. I didnt play the first game but we won 8-3. I pitched and hit the second game. I started off the game by hitting the first batter after a 1-2 count on her..my riseball has a mind of its own and it screwed in and hit her in the arm. The second inning was worse. I walked two batters in a row and really just had to slow myself down because I noticed I was rushing my normal routine. We ended up winning 6-1. I went 0-2 today but cant be too mad at myself because I made contact with the ball both times..just didnt get on! Not bad for four years of no live pitching if you ask me :] Denise caught both games and I really like having her back there. She is a good catcher. The team we beat is 2nd in our league so these were good wins for us. We have next weekend off but will make up a rained out game next tuesday.
